Diving in Belize
The reefs of Belize are popular with
underwater photographers and is a
great place to bring your family.

Ambergris Caye

Only half a mile from the barrier reef, Ambergris Caye is twenty-five miles long; its width ranges from a few hundred feet to over four miles and is the largest of the 200-plus cayes (islands) located off the Belize coast. Ambergris Caye is a premier Belize destination for scuba divers and snorkelers alike. It offers a wide variety of other water-oriented activities such as swimming, fishing, sailing, windsurfing and jet skiing. Not enough adventure for you? Try nature hiking, bird watching, bicycling or even exploring a Mayan ruin. Ambergris Caye receives cooling trade winds most of the year, which keeps the temperature down and the mosquitoes away.
